Where Most People Quit

☕ Coffee with Grim

Life has a funny way of teaching us lessons… if we’re paying attention.

This morning, I took a few minutes to escape the realities of life and mindlessly scroll through social media.

Before long, an old-school muscle guy popped onto my screen, yelling motivational quotes and obviously lifting fake weights.

I laughed.

Just as I was about to scroll to the next reel, he said something I’ve heard my entire life…

“Winners never quit, and quitters never win.”

It’s one of those sayings that’s been around forever.

But today…

it landed differently.

It got me thinking.

Most people don’t fail because they aren’t talented. They don’t fail because they aren’t smart enough.

They fail because somewhere in the middle…

The excitement fades.

Progress slows.

Doubt creeps in.

Quitting starts to sound reasonable.

It’s easier to go back to what’s comfortable than it is to keep moving forward.

The people who accomplish extraordinary things usually aren’t the smartest, the most gifted, or even the strongest.

They’re simply the ones who keep showing up.

When motivation disappears…

they show up.

When no one is watching…

they show up.

When every excuse tells them it’s okay to stop…

they show up anyway and give everything they have that day.

Maybe that’s the real lesson.

The middle is where most people quit…

but it’s also where the people who succeed decide they won’t.

So let me ask you…

What are you going to do when you reach the middle?

Until next time… keep paying attention.
